A 3-day touristic trip by kayaks by the Šventoji river with a night spent in the hunters‘ cabin.
Friday. We can organize accommodation in the real cabin of hunters by the Šventoji river. It is a house made of logs, of two storeys. There are 3 rooms. You can sleep on mattresses in the three rooms. You can take baths in the evening, from which you can run directly to the clean water of the Šventoji river. We can organize catering as well.
Saturday. In the morning, at the dawn, we het up and are ready for the day. Breakfast. After breakfast we start our trip. During Saturday we try to move through the upper river of the Šventoji from Užupaliai village, on our way we visit Krokulė well, the rock of Konglomeratas.
We start sailing from the Užupaliai road bridge through the Šventoji river. We move for about 10 km. We can have lunch in the kayak, or stop by when we find a nice place for having a meal. After lunch we reach the homestead. It is 19 km of sailing in total. Here we can play football on the grass or go fishing.
Sunday. After breakfast we start from the homestead with the stream. From the stead, the reservoir of the Šventoji landscape starts. We will sail for about 15 km till the confluence of the Šventoji and the Jara rivers. And it is our finish here. We come back to the homestead. The trip is over. We pack our bags and go home.
! This year “Vandens turistai” will offer you “Raft” rafts, new double kayaks “Vista” made of polyester by the company “Perception”, new double kayaks with a child’s place “Brio” by the company “RTM”, new paddles and new comfortable German vests “Marinepool’.
! To make you clothes and stuff stay dry after the trip, we will offer you RTM hermetic bags of the capacity of 15 liters, as well as plastic containers of 24 liters.
! A new menu is formed and here you can pick up 5 main courses through the weekend. The menu we offer can be sent to you by e-mail.
After the trip, before you leave for home, “Vandens turistai” will give you a CD with the pictures of the trip free of charge. In the pictures, with our new stuff you will look even better!
The cabin can accommodate up to 30 people.
