They are the safest and the most comfortable rafts and you can try them only with water tourists.
What do you think? Is that possible only in Turkey? You are wrong! We can do it in Lithuania too. We haven’t had so much experience in homeland. These photos were taken in Lithuania’s river.
An inflatable raft is a new thing. Their prototype is a transport mean which was used in Vietnam war by the Americans to drift fuel by rivers. A company “Sotar” used this idea and in 1980 made the first sport raft with a suspended bottom. This type of ship soon became very popular not only as sporty, but commercial as well which is for the passengers. These ships are very suitable for calm Lithuania water to go shipping or for leasure time for big people groups.
All inflatable ships are divided into one-layer and two-layers according to their construction. The first ones are made of super strong and long-live air keeping materials which are based on polyester with politherane layer and several inner hermetic layers. These materials is pride of producing companies and it is given a long-live guarantee for them. But in such way made rafts are very heavy, so they are not suitable to tourism, because they are not comfortable to carry.
Lighter ones and even more reliable are 2 layers inflatable rafts, but it is needed more high quality handwork in order to make them. The layer of these ships is sewed or welded from light PVC material. There are welded or glued balls from thinner armed politherane, PVC layer or cerecloth in the layer middle.
Water tourists will offer exactly the same model rafts this year. They are 8 seats, very light. Their weight with a bag is only 25 kg. Packed in the bag they need not much space, so you can put them in the boot. It is also suited for going on trek too so you can have it on your back.
